Wednesday, 30th June 2010
ASL's 3D iVENCS Physical Security Information Management software (PSIM) was unveiled this week to IFSEC 2010 audiences at the NEC in Birmingham.
iVENCS is already in use on dozen of infrastructure projects including Network Rail Thameslink , St Pancras International, Gatwick Airport and Derriford Hospital where it takes on a pivotal role in the supervision and control of all other building subsystems including CCTV fire, voice alarm, public address, help points, data networks, BMS, access control and radio.
iVENCS is based on an open and cross-platform architecture which provides security integrators with a unique alternative to working with a single vendor using closed protocol to integrate with their own head-end PSIM software.
At IFSEC ASL demonstrated iVENCS in use at Gatwick Airport, and at St. Pancras International, currently Europe's busiest rail hub and a successful case study for iVENCS with over 8,500 field devices across 16 sub-systems.
Edge based advanced video analytics from ASL Vision were shown on the stand including a live demonstration of video smoke and fire detection and camera stitching, all running on ASL's Analyser intelligent video encoders.Richard Lack, ASL's Director of Sales and Marketing gave a case study presentation in Hall 5 seminar theatre on the £850m St. Pancras International project.
