Adaptive Class D Technology
ASL pioneered the use of Adaptive Class D Amplifiers throughout its Public Address and Voice Alarm range of products. High reliability and high efficiency are the key requirements for a Voice Alarm amplifier. High efficiency means smaller battery supplies and lower operating temperature. Lower operating temperature means increased reliability.
Traditional Class-D amplifiers offer high efficiency at full-power but also exhibit high quiescent power consumption. Battery backed Voice Alarm Systems demand the very lowest quiescent consumption.
