The RPA Roving Public Address system provides users with the facility to make Public Address broadcasts from any location using handheld microphones. The hard-duty transmitter provides channel selection and battery status, and operates via an internal aerial.
The transmitter is compatible with both the RRM (placed within a SAP02) and also the standalone RMR receiver units.
The rugged, symmetrical enclosure and large ‘talk’ button provide the user with comfortable, easy operation – even whilst wearing gloves! A protective rubber edge and wrist strap protect the transmitter, should the handset be accidentally dropped.
A non-standard pilot tone keeps the voice alarm system secure by ensuring that only broadcasts originating from the RPA devices can make broadcasts through RMR and RRM radio receivers.
An internal rechargeable lithium polymer battery means less time charging and more time announcing.
The RRM is a wall-mounted standalone radio receiver, which provides roving public address coverage, for use with the RPA handheld transmitters.
Antennae can be mounted directly onto the RRM enclosure, or fitted remotely via a suitable co-axial cable if larger coverage areas are required.
The unit is compatible with all ASL PAVA systems, and also includes a standard audio/contact interface; providing a simple way to connect to third party systems if required.
The RCS01 RPA Transmitter Charging Station can to charge up to four RPA transmitters simultaneously. The unit can be fixed to walls and desk using mounting plates, or be left free-standing wherever is most suitable.
